Museum visits
The Cultural Coordination team at the Musée Ariana puts together a range of services for schools, offering different ways for them to view the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions.
Depending on the students’ ages, themed visits focusing on the permanent collections are available upon request:
- Animals (ages 4 to 8)
- Earth and hand: the metamorphosis game (ages 10 to 11)
- Great discoveries (ages 10 to 11)
These visits are free for students and teachers based in the Canton of Geneva.
Classroom visits
Since the pandemic, cultural coordinators have been making visits to schools in the Canton of Geneva that are located further away from the Musée Ariana.
These visits may focus on either the permanent collections or the temporary exhibitions.
Free (unguided) visits
Educational materials
Our educational materials are aimed at teachers who want to utilise the Musée Ariana’s collections as part of their teaching programme. The aim is to provide a general context around a specific theme as well as tools and avenues for reflection. A variety of activities are available, which can be adapted by teachers to suit their students’ ages.
